Creative and participatory methods

Today we have lesson with Jari Aho about Creative methods. We started lesson with warm-up. There were many kind of warm-up:
- keep triangle;
- follow to someone;
- introduce yourself by action;
- introduce your home town by action;
- unravel a net;
- describe your subject by action.
Then in group we write creative methods, which we already use in our teaching. 
Afternoon we chose one picture and according to this picture we create new groups. In this groups we discuss about question " what we want to know about creative methods?" 
- learning/ teaching situations
- special methods
- planning activities
- theory 

We did today's reflection with thinking hats.

Summer Mobile school

On 22th May I, Aigerim and Gulim were in Summer Mobile school in Mustiala. Firstly we registrated, we we have one person, who guide us whole day. Her name is Annika. She work in HAMK university. Then we go to outside. There were many tents. We go to the Classroom tent, there we in group did fairy tell. There were 6 groups. In one group we divided into 5 small groups. After that we have pedagogy workshop, technology workshop.


Recognizing exceptionally talented students

From 12 to 16 May we have lesson Recognizing exceptionally talented students with Principal Lecturer Tuomas Eerola and Senior Lecturer Pirjo Tuominen. 
We have lecture about 8 intelligence of Gardner. Also we work in group and discuss about talented, gifted students, how identify their talent, how teach them. 

International and multicultural week

From 19 to 23 May we have lesson with Ritta Metsanen and Leila Nisula. We have lecture about international education, cultural schok and did many activities. Also we have visited migration school TAKKA in Tampere and exhibition.

Math lesson in Hameenlinna Lyseo

     On 24th April I taught the second course students in Hameenlinna Lyseo. The topic was "Arithmetic progressions". I explained topic, show some examples, then we did group work "Continue sequences", "Domino" and pair work. Anne-Mari, their mathematics teacher sometimes translated into Finnish.
