Lesson in Seminary Primary school

On 27th March I and Nurlygul taught 6th grade students in Seminarian Primary school. It was subject mathematics, topic Percent. Firstly we introduce themselves, told about Kazakhstan and our schools. Then students chose geometrical shapes. we divided students into 4 groups: triangles, rectangles, circles and pentagons. After that students work in group, they solved math tasks about percents, then chose answers from envelope and stick on the blackboard. When all groups finished, students turn the answers on the blackboard and they saw Kazakh proverbs about education and knowledge. If in proverbs words order not correct it's mean this group have mistakes in this group work.
The second task was individual work "Kazakhstan and Finland in numbers". Then students give feedback for lesson.
Students feedbacks:
- I liked todays lesson a lot
- I learn to calculate faster
- I liked the group work the most. It was exciting
- More activities, less talking
- the handout exercises was really hard
-That Math is funny when we play games like that
